Info: Used to be called Oligoneuron rigidum, Rigid goldenrod is an excellent structural goldenrod for the fall. It has prolific blooms, which attract butterflies and other pollinators in the late fall. Goldrods and asters are particularly beneficial to Monarch butterflies on their journey back to Mexico to overwinter. Can be planted in formal gardens, but will need to be edited out of unwanted spaces as it spreads by seed.
